Georgia High School Softball - Jones County bounces Eagle's Landing
August 17, 2023: McDonough, GA 30253 The crowd at Thursday's league match between the Jones County Greyhounds (Gray, GA) and the host Eagle's Landing Eagles (McDonough, GA), saw Jones County's softball squad achieve victory over Eagle's Landing by a count of 17-1.
The Greyhounds now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Ola for a 5A Region 2 match on Tuesday, August 22. Jones County will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 16-3 league win over Warner Robins (Warner Robins, GA). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-1.
With the loss, Eagle's Landing falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Union Grove (McDonough, GA) to face the Wolverines in a 5A Region 2 match on Monday, August 21. The Wolverines enter the match with a record of 5-1. Union Grove won 17-0 in their recent league match against Dutchtown (Hampton, GA)
