Virginia High School Volleyball - Maury overwhelmed by Great Bridge
September 12, 2023: Chesapeake, VA 23322 In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Great Bridge Wildcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Maury Commodores.
The Wildcats (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Grizzlies come into the Southeastern battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Grassfield went down by Kellam (Virginia Beach, VA), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Commodores encounter the Norcom Greyhounds (Portsmouth, VA) in a Eastern battle, on Wednesday, September 13. Maury will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Greyhounds come into the battle with a 2-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Petersburg (Petersburg, VA).
