The The Master's Academy Lions (Forest City, NC) volleyball overcame the visiting Temple Baptist Eagles (Asheville, NC), 3-0 in Tuesday's league outing.

With the win, The Master's Academy upgrades its record to 4-4 on the year. The Lions host Nebo Crossing Academy (Nebo, NC) to face the Bulldogs in a Western Piedmont Athletic outing on Thursday, September 14. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 4-5. Nebo Crossing Academy lost 3-1 in their recent league outing against Challenger (Hickory, NC)
