September 12, 2024: Matthews, NC 28105 The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC) and the host Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC), witnessed Weddington's football squad topple Butler by a tally of 28-14.
The Warriors (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Myers Park (Charlotte, NC). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Myers Park was outscored by Richmond (Rockingham, NC), 13-0, in a non-league contest.
