September 12, 2025: Pittsburgh, PA 15237 The Avonworth Antelopes felled the visiting Thomas Jefferson Jaguars football team by a score of 41-14 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Antelopes face the Hopewell Vikings (Aliquippa, PA) in a WPIAL AAA Western Hills challenge, on Friday, September 19. Avonworth will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Vikings go into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 51-50 league loss to Beaver (Beaver, PA).
The Jaguars (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against West Mifflin (West Mifflin, PA). The Titans go into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, West Mifflin lost by Bethel Park (Bethel Park, PA), 41-7, in a non-league test.
