The Cedar Hill Longhorns walloped the visiting Red Oak Hawks football squad by a margin of 48-16 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Longhorns now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Skyline for a 6A Region II District 11 outing on Friday, September 19. Cedar Hill will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 33-32 non-league loss to Crowley (Crowley, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Red Oak drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Hawks host Ellison (Killeen, TX) to face the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, September 19. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 1-2. Ellison lost 41-35 in their recent non-league game against Shoemaker (Killeen, TX)
