September 12, 2025: Griffin, GA 30223 Trinity Christian School of Griffin LIONS (Griffin, GA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Covington Academy Bulldogs (Covington, GA), 46-8 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Trinity Christian School of Griffin improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The LIONS host Holy Ground Baptist Academy (Roopville, GA) to play the Stallions in a GAPPS A Region 1 (9 Man) test on Friday, September 19. The Stallions come into the test with a record of 2-2. Holy Ground Baptist Academy won 66-60 in their recent non-league test against Peoples Baptist Academy (McDonough, GA)
With the defeat, Covington Academy drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Peachtree Academy (Covington, GA) to face the Panthers in a GAPPS A Region 2 (9 Man) challenge on Friday, September 26. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-2. Peachtree Academy won 28-14 in their recent non-league test against Hearts Academy (Powder Springs, GA)
