In Friday's league bout, the Victory Christian Academy Knights (Chula Vista, CA) football team beat the host Foothills Christian Knights (El Cajon, CA), by a final score of 28-6.

With the win, Victory Christian Academy advances its record to 1-2 on the season. The Knights host Coastal Academy (Oceanside, CA) to encounter the Stingrays in a non-league bout on Friday, September 19. The Stingrays go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Coastal Academy lost 22-14 in their recent non-league bout against Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA)

The Knights now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Maranatha Christian for a Sunset bout on Friday, September 19. Foothills Christian will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 42-35 non-league win over Coronado (Coronado, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-1.
