The Victory Christian Academy Knights football team (Chula Vista, CA), was crushed 56-14 in Friday's league bout with the host Maranatha Christian Eagles (San Diego, CA)

With the win, Maranatha Christian advances its record to 6-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Mountain Empire (Pine Valley, CA) to confront the Redhawks in a Sunset contest on Friday, October 17. The Redhawks enter the contest with a record of 6-1. Mountain Empire won 29-3 in their recent league contest against O'Farrell Charter (San Diego, CA)

Coming up next, the Knights confront the Tri-City Christian Eagles (Vista, CA) in a Sunset bout, on Friday, October 17. Victory Christian Academy will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 0-7 record after their 35-0 league loss to O'Farrell Charter (San Diego, CA).
