California High School Football - Mountain Empire overwhelmed by Maranatha Christian

October 17, 2025: Pine Valley, CA 91962

The Maranatha Christian Eagles walloped the host Mountain Empire Redhawks football team by a score of 41-0 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles face the O'Farrell Charter Falcons (San Diego, CA) in a Sunset challenge, on Friday, October 24. Maranatha Christian will attempt to improve on its 7-1 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 38-23 league win over Foothills Christian (El Cajon, CA).

With the defeat, Mountain Empire drops to 6-2 on the campaign. The Redhawks host Rock Academy (San Diego, CA) to clash with the Warriors in a Sunset outing on Friday, October 24. The Warriors come into the outing with a record of 4-4. Rock Academy lost 41-7 in their recent non-league outing against Kearny (San Diego, CA)
