The Jefferson Cavaliers felled the visiting Washington Warriors football team by a score of 42-14 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Cavaliers face the Lincoln Patriots (Sioux Falls, SD) in a Metro challenge, on Friday, September 19. Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Patriots go into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 55-7 league win over Roosevelt (Sioux Falls, SD).

The Warriors (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Stevens (Rapid City, SD). The Raiders go into the Metro challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Stevens was defeated by Sturgis Brown (Sturgis, SD), 41-10, in a non-league test.
