Lathrop Malemutes (Fairbanks, AK) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the host North Pole Patriots (North Pole, AK), 14-13 in a league battle.

With the win, Lathrop advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Malemutes travel to Palmer (Palmer, AK) to play the Moose in a Railbelt battle on Friday, September 19. The Moose go into the battle with a record of 4-1. Palmer won 31-14 in their recent league battle against Eagle River (Eagle River, AK)

Coming up next, the Patriots confront the Eagle River Wolves (Eagle River, AK) in a Railbelt match, on Friday, September 19. North Pole will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Wolves come into the match with a 2-3 record after their 31-14 league loss to Palmer (Palmer, AK).
