September 12, 2025: Orono, ME 04473 The Stearns Minutemen walloped the host Orono Riots football team by a score of 60-22 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Minutemen play the Old Orchard Beach Seagulls (Old Orchard Beach, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 19. Stearns will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Seagulls come into the test with a 2-0 record after their 60-0 league win over Boothbay (Boothbay Harbor, ME).
The Riots (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Houlton (Houlton, ME). The Shiretowners go into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Houlton bounced Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME), 32-20, in a league challenge.
