In Friday's league game, the Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers (Philipsburg, PA) football team triumphed over the visiting Penns Valley Area Rams (Spring Mills, PA), by a score of 39-0.

In their next game, the Mountaineers battle the Bald Eagle Area Eagles (Wingate, PA) in a Laurel Highlands game, on Friday, September 19. Philipsburg-Osceola will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 1-3 record after their 21-14 league loss to Tyrone (Tyrone, PA).
