September 12, 2025: Watertown, SD 57201 The Pierre T.F. Riggs Governors football squad scored 41 points and limited the host Watertown Arrows to 19 in the Governors league triumph on Friday.
The Governors now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Brookings for a Eastern South Dakota game on Friday, September 19. Pierre T.F. Riggs will face a Bobcats team coming off a 14-10 league win over Aberdeen Central (Aberdeen, SD). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-1.
The Arrows (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Mitchell (Mitchell, SD). The Kernels enter the Eastern South Dakota game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Mitchell fell by Spearfish (Spearfish, SD), 42-16, in a league game.
