In Friday's league match, the Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX) volleyball team held off the host Fort Bend Dulles Vikings (Sugar Land, TX), by a margin of 3-2.

The Hurricanes now possess a 19-8 record. They play next when they host Fort Bend Clements for a 6A Region III District 21 bout on Tuesday, September 16.
