In Friday's league challenge, the host Fort Bend Travis Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes.

The Tigers (12-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Clear Lake (Houston, TX). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 15-8 record. In their last test, Clear Lake went down by Stratford (Houston, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Hurricanes now sport a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Bend Bush for a 6A Region III District 21 test on Tuesday, September 9.
