September 13, 2023: Oakboro, NC 28129 West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting North Stanly Comets (New London, NC), 2-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Colts clash with the Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 19. West Stanly will attempt to advance on its 10-4 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 8-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Parkwood (Monroe, NC).
With the loss, North Stanly drops to 4-6 on the campaign. The Comets host Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league match on Thursday, September 14. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 7-4. Mount Pleasant won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Piedmont (Monroe, NC)
