The Toreadors now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gilbert for a non-league test on Friday, September 20. Boone will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 42-22 non-league win over Mason City (Mason City, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-0.
With the defeat, Hoover drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Huskies host Knoxville (Knoxville, IA) to meet the Panthers in a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-1. Knoxville won 36-6 in their recent non-league test against South Tama County (Tama, IA)
