Pennsylvania High School Football - Knoch thwarted by Montour

Montour Spartans (McKees Rocks, PA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Knoch Knights (Saxonburg, PA), 44-14 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Montour improves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Spartans travel to Mars (Mars, PA) to play the Fightin' Planets in a non-league battle on Friday, September 20. The Fightin' Planets go into the battle with a record of 1-3. Mars lost 42-17 in their recent non-league battle against Aliquippa (Aliquippa, PA)

The Knights now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to New Castle for a non-league battle on Friday, September 20. Knoch will play a Hurricanes team coming off a 27-7 non-league win over Yough (Herminie, PA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 3-0.
