In Friday's league match, the host North Forsyth Raiders football squad scored a decisive 49-14 triumph over the South Forsyth War Eagles.

The Raiders (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Lambert (Suwanee, GA). The Longhorns come into the AAAAAA Region 6 match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Lambert routed West Forsyth (Cumming, GA), 13-0, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the War Eagles confront the North Atlanta Warriors (Atlanta, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 6 contest, on Friday, September 20. South Forsyth will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Warriors enter the contest with a 3-1 record after their 47-15 league win over Forsyth Central (Cumming, GA).
