California High School Volleyball - Richmond over Concord
September 13, 2024: Concord, CA 94521 Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Richmond Oilers (Richmond, CA) and the host Concord Bears (Concord, CA), observed Richmond's volleyball team top Concord by a count of 3-0.
The Oilers (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Vallejo (Vallejo, CA). The Redhawks enter the Tri-County contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Vallejo was knocked off by Pinole Valley (Pinole, CA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Bears battle the Ygnacio Valley Wolves (Concord, CA) in a Diablo-Valley contest, on Tuesday, September 17. Concord will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The Wolves enter the contest with a 1-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Mt. Eden (Hayward, CA).
