Georgia High School Softball - Taylor County bounces Northwest Whitfield
September 13, 2025: Butler, GA 31006 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Taylor County Vikings (Butler, GA) and the visiting Northwest Whitfield Bruins (Tunnel Hill, GA), observed Taylor County's softball team notch a victory over Northwest Whitfield by a final score of 13-3.
The Vikings (14-2) will now prepare for their bout against Shaw (Columbus, GA). The Raiders enter the non-league game with a 10-7 record. In their last game, Shaw topped Jordan (Columbus, GA), 21-3, in a league game.
The Bruins now possess a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Murray for a non-league match on Saturday, September 13. Northwest Whitfield will battle a Mountaineers team coming off a 10-2 league win over Murray County (Chatsworth, GA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 6-7.
