Michigan High School Volleyball - Berrien Springs tips Athens

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Berrien Springs Shamrocks volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Athens Indians.

The Shamrocks (7-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Colon (Colon, MI). The Magi come into the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Colon was nudged by Mendon (Mendon, MI), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Indians meet the St. Philip Catholic Central Fighting Tigers (Battle Creek, MI) in a Southern Central test, on Tuesday, September 16. Athens will attempt to advance on its 5-10 season record. The Fighting Tigers go into the test with a 10-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Bellevue (Bellevue, MI).
