In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Veritas School Lions volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Churchland Truckers.

The Lions (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against St. John's Catholic Prep (Buckeystown, MD). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, St. John's Catholic Prep lost by Paul VI (Chantilly, VA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Truckers face the Arcadia Firebirds (Oak Hall, VA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 13. Churchland will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record.
