September 13, 2025: Waterloo, IA 50703 Jefferson Hawks (Cedar Rapids, IA) followers left the game pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the host Waterloo East Trojans (Waterloo, IA), 2-0 in a non-league outing.
The Hawks now have a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Iowa City for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 16.
With the loss, Waterloo East drops to 0-9 on the season. The Trojans host Marshalltown (Marshalltown, IA) to face the Bobcats in a Iowa Alliance - North game on Tuesday, September 16. The Bobcats go into the game with a record of 2-7. Marshalltown lost 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA)
