The Redstickers (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against John Curtis Christian (River Ridge, LA). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, John Curtis Christian was knocked off by E.D. White (Thibodaux, LA), 3-1, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Greenies battle the Dunham Tigers (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 13. Newman will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 7-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Central (Baton Rouge, LA).
