In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Fontainebleau Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Newman Greenies.

The Bulldogs (21-12) will now prepare for their game against Dunham (Baton Rouge, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 23-5 record. In their last outing, Dunham defeated Episcopal (Baton Rouge, LA), 3-0, in a league outing.

With the loss, Newman drops to 19-8 on the campaign. The Greenies travel to St. Scholastica (Covington, LA) to play the Doves in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 18. The Doves enter the game with a record of 16-6.
