Valley Center Hornets (Valley Center, KS) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Wellington Crusaders (Wellington, KS), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Valley Center improves its record to 5-5 on the season. The Hornets host Andale (Andale, KS) to meet the Indians in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 13. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 9-0. Andale won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Circle (Towanda, KS)
