The Valley Center Hornets (Valley Center, KS) volleyball knocked off the visiting Buhler Crusaders (Buhler, KS), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Hornets now possess a 13-14 record. They play next when they travel to Hutchinson for a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division I bout on Tuesday, October 14. Valley Center will clash with a Salthawks team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Garden Plain (Garden Plain, KS). The Salthawks record now stands at 22-11.

With the loss, Buhler drops to 9-16 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to McPherson (McPherson, KS) to battle the Bullpups in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division III contest on Tuesday, October 14.
