September 14, 2023: Bellingham, WA 98225 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Bellingham Bayhawks (Bellingham, WA) and the visiting Mount Vernon Bulldogs (Mount Vernon, WA), saw Bellingham's volleyball squad nip Mount Vernon by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Bellingham upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Bayhawks host Anacortes (Anacortes, WA) to play the Seahawks in a non-league bout on Monday, September 18. The Seahawks go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Anacortes won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Sedro-Woolley (Sedro-Woolley, WA)
The Bulldogs now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Oak Harbor for a non-league bout on Monday, September 18. Mount Vernon will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-0.
