North Carolina High School Volleyball - Holmes can't hold off First Flight

September 14, 2023: Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948

In Thursday's league battle, the host First Flight Nighthawks volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Holmes Aces.

The Nighthawks (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC). The Panthers come into the Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Pasquotank County was edged by Currituck County (Barco, NC), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Aces clash with the Camden County Bruins (Camden, NC) in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A battle, on Tuesday, September 19. Holmes will attempt to advance on its 7-4 season record. The Bruins come into the battle with a 8-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC).
