North Carolina High School Volleyball - First Flight over Holmes

October 10, 2023: Edenton, NC 27932

First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Nighthawks battle the J.H. Rose Rampants (Greenville, NC) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, October 11. First Flight will attempt to advance on its 12-8 season record. The Rampants come into the match with a 16-3 record after their 3-0 league win over New Bern (New Bern, NC).

With the loss, Holmes drops to 12-8 on the campaign. The Aces travel to Camden County (Camden, NC) to battle the Bruins in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A match on Thursday, October 12. The Bruins come into the match with a record of 16-3. Camden County won 3-1 in their recent non-league match against Perquimans (Hertford, NC)
