The Hickory Hawks topped the host Oscar Smith Tigers volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.

The Hawks now have a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop O'Connell for a non-league test on Saturday, September 16. Hickory will confront a Knights team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Peninsula Catholic (Newport News, VA). The Knights record now stands at 6-5.

The Tigers (0-4) will now prepare for their test against Lakeland (Suffolk, VA). The Cavaliers enter the Southeastern test with a 2-5 record.
