September 14, 2024: Arvada, CO 80004 The Arvada West Wildcats football squad scored 40 points and limited the visiting Smoky Hill Buffaloes to 6 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wildcats now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Overland for a non-league test on Friday, September 20. Arvada West will clash with a Trailblazers squad coming off a 41-22 non-league loss to Fountain-Fort Carson (Fountain, CO). The Trailblazers record now stands at 2-1.
With the defeat, Smoky Hill drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Buffaloes host Rangeview (Aurora, CO) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 3-0. Rangeview won 36-6 in their recent non-league test against Englewood (Englewood, CO)
