The Sun Valley Vanguards volleyball squad (Aston, PA), dropped 3-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Penncrest Lions (Media, PA)

With the win, Penncrest improves its record to 7-2 on the season. The Lions host Upper Darby (Drexel Hill, PA) to encounter the Royals in a Central battle on Monday, September 16. The Royals go into the battle with a record of 1-3.

The Vanguards now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Interboro for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 14.
