In Thursday's non-league game, the C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons (Pikeville, NC) football team knocked off the host Hunt Warriors (Wilson, NC), by a final score of 34-8.

The Golden Falcons (3-1) will now prepare for their game against East Wake (Wendell, NC). The Warriors come into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, East Wake was dropped by Southern Wayne (Dudley, NC), 30-18, in a non-league game.

The Warriors now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Smithfield-Selma for a non-league game on Thursday, September 22. Hunt will battle a Spartans team coming off a 34-6 non-league loss to South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 0-4.
