September 15, 2022: Claremont, NC 28610 The Draughn Wildcats soccer team (Valdese, NC), was overwhelmed 7-0 in Thursday's non-league outing with the host Bunker Hill Bears (Claremont, NC)
With the win, Bunker Hill advances its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Bears travel to West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC) to battle the Rebels in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A outing on Monday, September 19. The Rebels go into the outing with a record of 2-7. West Lincoln lost 7-0 in their recent league outing against Maiden (Maiden, NC)
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Owen Warhorses (Black Mountain, NC) in a Western Highlands 1A/2A outing, on Wednesday, September 21. Draughn will attempt to advance on its 0-8 season record. The Warhorses go into the outing with a 6-2 record after their 7-0 non-league win over Polk County (Columbus, NC).
