North Carolina High School Soccer - Maiden knocks off Bunker Hill
October 19, 2022: Maiden, NC 28650 Maiden Blue Devils (Maiden, NC) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Bunker Hill Bears (Claremont, NC), 4-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Blue Devils confront the Lincolnton Wolves (Lincolnton, NC) in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A challenge, on Monday, October 24. Maiden will attempt to better on its 9-10 season record. The Wolves enter the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 6-0 league win over Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC).
The Bears now have a 3-13 record. They take the field next when they host Lincolnton for a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A challenge on Thursday, October 20. Bunker Hill will confront a Wolves team coming off a 3-0 league win over East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC). The Wolves record now stands at 7-11.
