In Friday's league contest, the Newton South Lions (Newton, MA) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Boston Latin Wolfpack (Boston, MA), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Lions face the Bedford Buccaneers (Bedford, MA) in a Dual County contest, on Monday, September 18. Newton South will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Buccaneers go into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Concord-Carlisle (Concord, MA).
