September 15, 2025: Monroe, NC 28110 The Union Academy Cardinals smashed the visiting Albemarle Bulldogs soccer team by a tally of 8-0 in Monday's league game.
Next, the Cardinals clash with the Gray Stone Day Knights (Misenheimer, NC) in a Yadkin Valley 2A/3A game, on Wednesday, September 17. Union Academy will attempt to advance on its 10-2 season record. The Knights come into the game with a 5-2 record after their 9-0 league win over North Stanly (New London, NC).
The Bulldogs (4-5) will now prepare for their game against North Rowan (Spencer, NC). The Cavaliers come into the non-league game with a 2-7 record. In their last game, North Rowan gained a win over South Stanly (Norwood, NC), 9-3, in a league game.
