With the win, Metcalfe County improves its record to 5-0 on the season. The Hornets travel to Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY) to confront the Wildcats in a 2A District 3 test on Friday, September 23. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 0-4. Edmonson County lost 50-0 in their recent non-league test against Hancock County (Lewisport, KY)
With the loss, Clinton County moves to 0-5 on the season. The Bulldogs host Green County (Greensburg, KY) to confront the Dragons in a 2A District 3 test on Friday, September 23. The Dragons go into the test with a record of 3-2. Green County won 44-0 in their recent league test against Monroe County (Tompkinsville, KY)
