Florida High School Football - Leesburg felled by Vanguard

The Leesburg Yellow Jackets football team (Leesburg, FL), was knocked off 34-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Vanguard Knights (Ocala, FL)

The Knights (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Buchholz (Gainesville, FL). The Bobcats come into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Buchholz knocked off Creekside (St. Johns, FL), 48-41, in a league challenge.

The Yellow Jackets now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to The Villages Charter for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 23. Leesburg will meet a Buffalo team coming off a 35-14 non-league win over Citrus (Inverness, FL). The Buffalo record now stands at 1-2.
