September 16, 2023: Farmington, NM 87401 The Farmington Scorpions soccer team (Farmington, NM), was overwhelmed 7-1 in Saturday's non-league outing with the visiting Sandia Prep Sundevils (Albuquerque, NM)
With the win, Sandia Prep advances its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Sundevils travel to Rehoboth Christian (Rehoboth, NM) to clash with the Lynx in a A/3A District 1 game on Tuesday, September 19. The Lynx go into the game with a record of 7-0. Rehoboth Christian 0-0 in their recent non-league game against Silver (Silver City, NM)
The Scorpions (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM). The Bobcats go into the non-league game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Bloomfield nipped Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM), 2-1, in a non-league game.
