September 16, 2023: Chicago Heights, IL 60411 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves (Lansing, IL) and the host Bloom Blazing Trojan (Chicago Heights, IL), saw Thornton Fractional South's volleyball squad beat Bloom by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Thornton Fractional South upgrades its record to 8-10 on the year. The Red Wolves travel to Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL) to play the Hawks in a South Suburban bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 0-5. Hillcrest lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Reavis (Burbank, IL)
The Blazing Trojan now own a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Thornton Fractional North for a non-league bout on Monday, September 18. Bloom will play a Meteors squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Bremen (Midlothian, IL). The Meteors record now stands at 6-6.
