Alabama High School Volleyball - Madison County tips Central

September 16, 2023: Gurley, AL 35748

Madison County Tigers (Gurley, AL) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Central Wildcats (Florence, AL), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Tigers battle the Loretto Mustangs (Loretto, TN) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 16. Madison County will attempt to advance on its 24-9 season record. The Mustangs come into the match with a 21-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, TN).

With the loss, Central drops to 20-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to John Carroll Catholic (Birmingham, AL) to battle the Cavaliers in a non-league match on Saturday, September 16. The Cavaliers come into the match with a record of 6-7. John Carroll Catholic lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Pelham (Pelham, AL)
