The Mount Ayr Raiders held off the visiting Lamoni Demons volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Raiders now have a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wayne for a Pride of Iowa test on Saturday, September 16. Mount Ayr will confront a Falcons team coming off a 3-0 league win over Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 3-5.

The Demons (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Twin Cedars (Bussey, IA). The Sabers enter the Bluegrass test with a 3-10 record. In their last test, Twin Cedars was nudged by Cardinal (Eldon, IA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
