September 16, 2023: Welsh, LA 70591 North Vermilion Patriots (Maurice, LA) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Welsh Greyhounds (Welsh, LA), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Patriots battle the Iowa Yellowjackets (Iowa, LA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 19. North Vermilion will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record.
With the loss, Welsh drops to 4-8 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host Iota (Iota, LA) to battle the Bulldogs in a Division III District 3 match on Monday, September 18. The Bulldogs come into the match with a record of 11-2. Iota lost 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Lafayette Christian Academy (Lafayette, LA)
