New Mexico High School Soccer - West Mesa knocks off Belen
September 16, 2025: Belen, NM 87002 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the visiting West Mesa Mustangs soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 victory over the Belen Eagles.
The Mustangs (1-9) will now prepare for their outing against Highland (Albuquerque, NM). The Hornets come into the non-league test with a 2-9 record. In their last test, Highland by Cibola (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now have a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Valley for a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. Belen will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Highland (Albuquerque, NM). The Vikings record now stands at 2-8.
