Maryland High School Soccer - Clarksburg nudges Watkins Mill
September 16, 2025: Clarksburg, MD 21216 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Clarksburg Coyotes (Clarksburg, MD) and the visiting Watkins Mill Wolverines (Gaithersburg, MD), saw Clarksburg's soccer squad hold off Watkins Mill by a count of 3-2.
The Coyotes (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Northwest (Germantown, MD). The Jaguars enter the Class 4A West I battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Northwest tipped Poolesville (Poolesville, MD), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Wolverines confront the Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles (Germantown, MD) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 18. Watkins Mill will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Screamin' Eagles come into the match with a 0-2 record after their 5-1 league loss to Northwest (Germantown, MD).
